If you landed on this page, either a) someone, possibly myself, directly suggested that you take a look or b) you are early traffic in response to SEO efforts to make music available to artists and fans alike, both for purposes of generalized collaboration and for the sustainable creation of artistic works. Music on this page is intended to be free in every sense of the word, primarily to attract interest in music which has received more careful attention and/or is simply "better," whatever that means. This is also a strategy and potential business model in music which offers economic empowerment and networking potential to those involved in creative processes involved in making music.
The following tracks are improvisation (generally 2-3 layers) or are basic concepts which have not been completely ironed out yet.
This list would run thousands of tracks long, with many major differences, if I recorded everything I play. If you hear classical themes, you are right. If you hear blues, you are right. If you hear rock and roll, you are right. If you hear punk, you are right. If you hear funk, you are right. If you hear jazz, I probably hit a wrong note and tried to cover it up. If you hear reggae, you are right. If you hear ambient, you are right. If you hear Middle Eastern, I hear Middle Eastern. If you hear African, I hear African. If you hear Indian, I hear Indian. If you hear spiritual, you are right. If you hear revolutionary, you are right. If you hear the instruments and tools I am using, you are right. If you hear something else, you are right. Make it your own: it is worth it.
There is no end to the new music, so have a listen and see where it can take you. It's the journey, not the destination :)
Songs which have been composed, produced, etc. are available for purchase here.
- Instruments and method
- A 2-chord riff with dressing turning into the main course, 2 guitars and 1 bass with minimal mixing and no effects
- Not the first time some of these themes come up for me in some form or another
Sometimes It's Just This Way
- Three rough improvisational cuts with 2 guitars and 1 bass with minimal mixing and no effects
- Sometimes it's just this way. Nice recovery after a rough start, and there is also some stepping on my own toes. Let me know if you can even tell when the string breaks in second guitar part
